I’m a UX designer based in Bangalore. Currently, I’m finishing my degree in Computer Science from BITS Goa. To me, design is the perfect intersection between science and art. Finding balance between usability and beauty fulfills me.

InvestIQ

InvestIQ is a product made to help novice investors buy their first mutual fund. This question statement was given to me as a part of Lollypop’s Designathon 2023, where my team secured the Runner Up posisition. UX research (primary + secondary), UX design, ideation, UI design, and prototyping.

Redesigning Video Calls

Video calling is often tedious when the connection is poor. This is a study and redesign of the video calling experience, with a focus on WhatsApp. Finding pain points, carrying out user research, prototyping and user testing.

Myntra: a UX Case Study

Myntra is one of India’s largest markets for fashion. This is study of the Myntra app. Identifying pain points and doing user research: carrying out user interviews, affinity mapping, verifying pain points, and proposing solutions.

Designing for the Tier 2 and Tier 3 Cities of India

Studying how brands modify their user experience to work best for different demographics. Focused on 4 apps - Aayu, 1mg, DealShare and BigBasket: 2 intended for tier 2/3 cities, and 2 intended for tier 1 cities.

Who I am & what I love. Nice to meet you!

Hi! I’m Aditi, a UX designer based in Bangalore, India.

I think of myself as part thinker and part maker — synthesis in all forms is my forte. Coming from a background in Computer Science with an interest in excelling creatively, design, to me, the perfect intersection of everything I love.

What I love to do:

My passion is to give people products that are intuitive, clean, and functional while also being beautiful and aesthetically appealing. My approach is to always channel empathy to create elegant, user-focused solutions. To bring my thoughts to life and to make things from ground up fulfills me.

Previously, I have interned as a UI Designer at MedCords, a MedTech startup which aims to reach out to Indian citizens from tier 2 and 3 cities to make medical services more accessible. Currently, I’m working as the first Product Designer at Open Science Labs, details of which can be found here.

Outside of design…

Outside of design, you can find me hanging out with cats (I’m a huge cat person), or playing frisbee (I love running around), or reading something (I’m a big fan of contemporary writing). I enjoy painting, sketching and photography too.
